God,
I’m sorry when I reduce you to a set of directions or a step by step process. That if I pray this prayer or say this thing then that will put me where I want to be. May I always remember that you came down as an image or a person that was a human version of you. May I remember that he felt things as a person, much like you do. May I remember that you are not in some sort of cold “if I do this then, I’ll get this” process, but a father who desires the attention, worship and praise from his child. May the words that I speak in front of those that are spiritual, reflect how I really feel about you. May I never gage my spirituality by those around me, may I only gage myself by what Jesus did and strive for perfection in that sense.
May I only boast about you and your goodness.
